Ngurah Rai International Airport, located 13 km south of Denpasar is the main airport of Bali and also the third busiest airport of Indonesia. There is another specialty of this airport which is it’s the worlds’ seventh best in terms of Airport service quality by providing services to 10 million passengers per year. As for the recent rush of tourists have led the Airport authority to revamp their quality and services which is actually increasing the facilities of the airport.
The transportation to the city center from the Airport is a bit narrower which limits the travelers to use only the taxi services which is basically a monopoly business. The rates and dropping points of the taxies are fixed and can’t be bargain with as there is no meter running, which is however pretty much the similar. It takes 8.50 € for Tuku Umar, 9.25 € for nangka Selatan and 10.30 € for Sekar of Denpasar city and 30 minutes to contact. On important thing is, they have special points and any additional km from each points will be charged extra and they accepts only rupiah.
